Heather B., Hospital Manager

Heather has always had a love for animals and medicine ever since she was a little girl. She began working in the field of veterinary medicine in 2005 as a receptionist. After taking a break from work to raise two wonderful girls, Heather re-entered the world of veterinary medicine in 2012 as a receptionist again. She took every opportunity to watch and help with pet care while working towards becoming a veterinary technician. Heather joined the team at Trusty Vet as a veterinary assistant in October 2015. She enjoyed educating pet owners on parasite-prevention products, the importance of regular vaccination schedules, and anything involving surgery. In 2020, Heather became more involved in the business side of Trusty Vet, starting as inventory manager, and has now evolved as our hospital manager.

On her free time, Heather spends time with her husband Kevin, and their two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Ava. They enjoy going to the lake to fish or camp and watch Alabama/ Penn State football. They also have one dog, Belle, a German Shepherd/ Husky Mix, and two cats, Stella and Salem. She enjoys spoiling all of them and supplying them with excellent veterinary care.
