Heather B., Hospital Manager

Heather has loved animals and medicine ever since she was a little girl. She began working in veterinary medicine in 2005 as a receptionist. After taking a break from work to raise two wonderful girls, Heather re-entered veterinary medicine in 2012 as a receptionist. She took every opportunity to observe and assist with pet care while working toward becoming a veterinary technician. Heather joined the team at Trusty Vet as a veterinary assistant in October 2015. She enjoyed educating pet owners about parasite-prevention products, the importance of regular vaccination schedules, and anything related to surgery. In 2020, Heather became more involved in the business side of Trusty Vet, starting as an inventory manager and has since evolved into our hospital manager. Her devotion to our hospital and her exploration of other opportunities to provide services to our patients' care are amazing. She never stops caring for our clinic, our staff, our DVMs, and our amazing clients.

In her free time, Heather spends time with her husband Kevin and their two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Ava. They enjoy chilling at their house, having dart competitions, and watching Alabama/Penn State football. They also have one dog, Belle, an Anatolian/ Husky Mix, and two cats who are sisters, Stella and Salem. She enjoys spoiling them all and providing them with excellent veterinary care.
