Lead Veterinary Technician

Veronica was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. From a young age, she always had an interest in animal welfare and medicine. Her rescued best friend (Great Pyrenees) Heidi Mae helped guide her towards her passion for veterinary medicine. In 2018 she began her journey at Trusty Vet as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Jefferson State Community College in 2023 with an A.S. in Veterinary Technology. Upon passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam, she earned her title as Licensed Veterinary Technician in early 2024. Her interests include animal welfare and advocacy, preventative medicine, and owner support and education. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, thrifting, Tetris, and climbing. She shares her home with her partner, Brandon, three dogs, Heidi Mae, Lennie, and Wade; four cats, Jazz, Miso, Gary (former employee of Trusty Vet), and Friday; two ferrets, Ferris and Fern, and Finnessa, the betta fish.
